12. Watchdog

Like any large organisation, from time to time we do receive genuine student complaints, and we always act promptly to resolve them and learn any lessons for the future. In October 2008, SkillsTrain was featured on BBC Watchdog, highlighting three specific student complaints. We were very disappointed that the BBC attempted to discredit the qualifications earned by our students and to damage their chances of future employment. We have since proved that the cases featured on the programme to be an exaggeration of the facts and had these students made full use of our online facilities, there would not have been a problem.

Any students that contacted us regarding the BBC Watchdog progamme were sent an information pack to put their minds at rest.
